Wow... a provocative topic heading. But hey, that's the point of a headline. Lincecum looked good last night. 12 K's. "Bono" was so excited about the Yanks-Sox extra-innings classic that he forgot to give all of us The Freak's boxscore stats. Good to see him back to form...it's good for the game.

Have you ever noticed that most of the time when a team turns a double play the second baseman is OFF THE BAG when he catches the ball. He steps on it before he catches it, takes his foot off and then catches it and throws to first... This happens A LOT with Cano (Yanks). I noticed this two times in the last series with the Sox. There's also times when the first baseman takes his foot off the bag before he catches the ball too... stupid.

Should Manny be able to play in the minors to get himself ready for the majors when his 50 game suspension is up?

I say NO!

Why he's allowed to play right now is beyond me... Manny being "rusty" after not playing for 50 games is part of what the Dodgers have to deal with for the infraction. He shouldn't be allowed to sharpen his skills in the minors DURING his suspension... stupid....

Peavy rejects the trade to the ChiSox. White Sox need pitchinghelp after giving up 20 runs. I'd like to see Peavy on Boston or Atlanta. Milwaukee would be better off going after Peavy than let's say a subpar pitcher like Boston's Brad Penny. It would cost Boston many prospects to land Peavy (if he even wanted to go to a AL team). So long as the Yanks don't land him.
