http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/04/27/creeds-scott-stapp-calls-reunion-a-renewing-and-a-rebirth/

wtf? seems like a quick money scheme

I really hope this doesnt mean alter bridge is going to fall by the way side i like them alot more.

Also Stapp's solo album sucked, hopefully he doesnt have alot of input in the new album.

Not happy about this... Stapps voice really needs to come around. It sounded mediocre on his solo record...

This is from Myles concerning Alterbridge:

"The news today

Many of you are wondering how this Creed reunion tour will affect the future of Alter Bridge. No worries, it won’t. I can assure you that as soon as they finish in October we will move forward.

Contrary to false statements that might lead you to believe otherwise, Alter Bridge continues to be paramount to the four of us.

The guys have my full support. It’s a very complex situation to say the least. It had to be done.

I appreciate the fact that so many of you are concerned about our future. With that said, everything is going to be all right. Alter Bridge’s third record is well on it’s way. The guys will embark on their reunion tour, I will make my record, and then we will carry on.

"Don’t forget we’re here to stay"

All the best

mk"

I hope Myles is right and not just saying this stuff...

Okay, I'll admit... I'm officially anxious for this new album to come out... apparently their new single should be out in about 10 days.

I've been listening to some of Creeds music lately and remember why I was such a huge fan of the band. I hope their new stuff is quality...

AOL Sessions: Creed is BACK! These are brand new videos shot recently in anticipation for their new album. Stapp actually sounds really good in these videos... anxious to hear their new stuff...

This one is My Own Prison... the rest are on the same page but to the right side...

Description of the new single from Creed (coming out on August 25th):

"Hello All,
I recently had the privilege to preview the upcoming 1st single from Creed entitled "Overcome". Being a music lover my entire life and working in the rock biz for the last decade, this is my take on the song. I feel that in every Creed album, MOP, Human Clay, and Weathered, each in their own right showed a consistent growth within the group regarding direction of the album and the ability to write great melody hooks, inspiring lyrics, and rock music instrumentation that just gives you a solid punch in the face. While giving "Overcome" a first-run listen. I noticed a powerful emotional melody, inspiring lyrics, speaking about the ability and entitlement to be able to overcome any obstacle, no matter the size or stature. The music, well the music just 'effin rocked!!! I have to say, by the 3rd listen CHILLS RAN DOWN MY SPINE... Haven't had that happen in a long while...This song not only shows amazing growth within the group, it seems that they are once again working as a "band of brothers" coming together as a single unit waiting to unleash a rage of unharnessed musical power on their audiences. The solo from Tremonti is nothing short of amazing. He continues his quest to be one of the most influential rock guitar gods of this, or any time in music history. I am very proud to be one of the few that got to preview this track off of Full Circle. It just makes me so anxious to hear what is in store for the remainder of the album!! I do not write this to tease anyone, just "overcome" with emotion and had a desire to share my feelings!!! Can't wait until the 25th when all of you cherished friends of Creed get to share my enthusiasm!!!"

Sounds good to me!

"Overcome" is the new Creed single and it has been released to the radio stations. It's a very solid song (7.5 out of 10). It's very hard hitting and has a killer Tremonti solo. I have a feeling that their new album (out late October) will be very good.

Go to their new site to hear the song. You don't have to click on anything, it'll just start playing.

Creed new song called "Rain". Check it out. It's one of the most "pop" sounding Creed songs but it is really good. It has radio potential:

Album is out tomorrow but I've heard it a bunch of times:

My impression: Sort of disappointed. There are a handful of really good songs with one of them being outstanding (On My Sleeve). The weakest of all their albums in my opinion...
