Cast: Camilla Belle will play Mary. Al Pacino and Jessica Lange slated to play Herod and Anna the Prophetess. Peter O'Toole will play Simeon. Gabriel/Lucifer to be played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. The film will be directed by Alejandro Agresti. Co-written by Benedict Fitzgerald and Barbara Nicolosi. Fitzgerald I believe co-wrote The Passion. Mary Aloe and Rodrigo Berlanga are producing. The executive producers are Mike Dolan, Mauricio Sanchez and James Volk.
I hope the movie is true to the traditional Mariological doctrine of the Catholic Church. Anyone have any more info please share.
