The Lions have made a deal with Stafford. They THINK they're drafting a franchise QB. I have my doubts.

In addition to Detroit's pick, share your thoughts about your team's selections. Packers? Patriots?

Patriots draft grade: D+. I hope I'm proven wrong. Looks like the team's main concern is the cap. Well, if they do indeed save some coin then they had better sign some quality free agents (if available) before the season starts!!

A first... hearing Mike's dad praise the T. Thompson brain trust and this year's draft picks! So are all you Pack fans happy with your picks?

It is a glorious day in my opinion for the Packer nation. We needed defense, and we got amazing defensive players. The trade up to get Matthews was brilliant and I am so excited to see him in action. I'm starting to have more faith for our new defense with these additions.

Couldn't be happier with the Packer's draft on paper, we'll see if it comes to fruition. My father giving Ted Thompson credit was the most shocking thing about it all.

The contract the Lions gave to Stafford is ridiculous. He will be the highest paid player in the league next year. Give me a break.

But all that cash will be worth it if he can get the Lions to a scintillating 1-15 record. Baby steps.

Yeah, make fun of the Lions. You'll be eating your words when they are 2 - 14 next season...
