| Wow... a provocative topic heading. But hey, that's the point of a headline. Lincecum looked good last night. 12 K's. "Bono" was so excited about the Yanks-Sox extra-innings classic that he forgot to give all of us The Freak's boxscore stats. Good to see him back to form...it's good for the game. | |

| Another decent outing for Lincecum who got a big win over the Cubs. Seven K's in 7 innings (only 2 BB) and he improved his record to 3-1. Giants are above .500! | |

| Both the Freak and Cain from the Giants are serious contenders at this point. Cain just has a complete game 1ER win last night. He's now 9-1 with a 2.2ish ERA... If they only had a power hitter... If the season ended at this point, the Giants would have the WIld Card spot... who saw that coming?! | |

| Cy Young winner 2009. Easy if he stays healthy. He is on a roll right now. 3 Complete Games in the last 4 starts. 9 ER in his last 8 starts... running away with the strikeout trophy... 1st in innings pitched, 2nd in ERA, 3rd in WHIP, 1st in complete games...

| I read somewhere that he's going to be a free agent soon. Anyone have details? No way SF will be able to pay him the $ he's going to command. Hopefully the Red Sox pursue him. I just don't want to see him in pinstripes.
I always worry about his small frame wearing down like what happened to Pedro Martinez. | |

| SICK. Great win on this 4th of July. Now he's 9-2 with a 2.23 ERA. He has a scoreless streak of 23 innings. Cy Young Winner 2009. Give it to him now...
How about that new rookie that had his second start yesterday - Ryan Sadowski? He looks really good too... Two starts, two shutouts. 13 IP 7 Hits given up. Looks really good... With the Freak, Cain, Big Unit, the Rookie, and oh yeah Zito (tool), the Giants look good to win the Wild Card. They could be dangerous in the playoffs with that pitching rotation... | |

| Took a no-no into the 7th. Good outing last night. Now is 10-2 with a mere 2.33 ERA. Took his scoreless streak to 29 innings before it was broken. Not too shabby... | |

| Saw part of the game on the MLB network when SF had a double steal resulting in the Giants only run of the game. 1 run against the lowly Pirates. Not good for a playoff contender.
I hear Adan Dunn as a possible bat the Giants might try to acquire. Definite homeroom power BUT too many strikeouts. Lincecum needs some offensive support to get wins when he pitches well or Haren of Arizona will claim Cy Young honors this year. | |
